DANCING WITH GAIA for Native American-Style Flute with optional Frame Drum and Acoustic Guitar

A bright traditional piece for Native American-Style Flute (minor pentatonic scale). Duration approximately 2’47”.

The flute part is notated in Nakai notation (i.e. F-sharp minor with sharpened 6th + fingering diagrams), so it can be played on 6-hole minor pentatonic flutes in any key.
 
There are backing tracks provided in several keys featuring a simple frame drum and guitar accompaniment. A frame drum part is provided and there are chord sheets in common flute keys to facilitate live performance accompanied by guitars, harmonium, piano or other instruments.
 
Chord charts and MP3s (in 440Hz tuning) are provided in C, D, E, F, F#, G, A and B minor. There is also a Scale Degree chord chart.

N.B. The demo recording on the “Native American-Style Flute” page is recorded in A minor (440Hz) on a High Spirits First Hawk flute (highspirits.com). Alternative fingerings may need to be used depending on the maker of your flute.
