BIOGRAPHY

DARREN LORD (b. 1981)

 

Darren studied music at Southampton University and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree and an MA in Music Composition. He studied piano with Andrew West and David Owen Norris and composition, orchestration and arrangement with Matthew Scott, Michael Zev Gordon and Michael Finnissy. 

 

Since graduating, Darren has worked as Assistant Musical Director on the international tour of Mamma Mia! and was part of the original London company of Wicked, playing keyboard in the orchestra and serving as a cover conductor.  In 2018, he was Musical Director for Eugenius at The Other Palace.
